Welcome to our cottage

It’s a basic cottage that my grandfather had built in the 1960’s. He was a carpenter, so he finished the interior, which we’ve kept pretty close to the same. We’ve got 3 bedrooms (queen, full, twin bunkbed) & 3/4 bath. Perfect for a family up to 6!

Pillows & blankets are provided, but please bring sheets and towels. Kid and dog friendly (no cats, I’m allergic).

Even though our kitchen is small and has a vintage oven that runs hot, we love it when we’re up. It’s cozy, but works!

Our drinking water is from the community center well, so you’ll have a good excuse to play a game of tennis or Bingo.

There is no wifi or TV (ahh… unplug…), but we just added a cellphone extender for 4 bars of cell service if you have to check in with the real world sometime (feel free to turn it off, too!).

We have a dock with a floater mat and a canoe for exploring Little and Big Straggle.

Our cottage is in the private Harcourt Park community, which has tons of trails for hiking and mountain biking, a community center for activities (including tennis and sand volleyball courts, bingo, kids craft days, and other special events).

All guests must abide by the Harcourt Park By-laws.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, or would like to know availability. We rent out a few weeks during the summer, as well as late-spring and early fall.

Hope to see you up here,

Andris, Kristen, and Eli
